A “popular” hotel near Dunfermline has been put up for sale with a £1.75 million price tag. A new owner is being sought for the Adamson Hotel in Crossford. The venue, which has 39 bedrooms, also has a restaurant – which reopened in 2023 – a bar and the Tempus Lounge. The hotel also comes with a large car park, beer garden and outdoor dining area.

ESPC has revealed the 10 most-viewed listings in Fife on its website last month. The featured homes varied widely in size, style and price, with four- and five-bedroom properties making up half the list, highlighting strong demand among families and larger households.

Police believe a £3.2 million cannabis farm in Cowdenbeath may be the biggest ever found in Fife. Nearly 2,000 plants were found inside a disused factory on Gateside Industrial Estate on Thursday. Officers have now revealed the enormous value of the drugs uncovered. The Courier understands detectives believe it is “almost certainly” their biggest-ever haul in Fife and one of the largest uncovered in the east of Scotland.

Emergency services were called to a Dundee street after a van overturned on Sunday. The crash happened near Frews Bar on Moncur Crescent, close to the junction with Strathmartine Road, shortly after 7pm. Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene. It has not been confirmed if anyone was injured. A Dunfermline woman says she was “seconds from death” when a car crashed into her garden, leaving a “scene of devastation”. The Macquarrie Crescent had been in her garden less than 10 seconds before the car ploughed into her neighbour’s garden, then into hers. Three garden fences and a summerhouse were destroyed. The car had allegedly failed to stop for police on Linburn Road before the dramatic crash happened on Wednesday afternoon.
