By Elliot Hughes Burnsville police are investigating a stabbing death that occurred Wednesday morning in a home near North River Hills Park. Officers were called to the home in the 2000 block of 117th Street E. at 9:35 a.m. on a report of a domestic disturbance, and found a dead 32-year-old woman with stab wounds inside. A suspect was later arrested by Lakeville police. In a statement, Burnsville police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.

Police said they are looking for anyone who might have seen someone in the park between 1 and 4 a.m. Saturday. Nearby residents with security camera footage showing activity in the area off Portland Avenue S. not far from County Road 42 E. are also asked to reach out to police.
