The thunderstorm brought much-needed moisture, as well as large hail to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Weather watcher Steve Reckers measured 1.94 inches of rainfall at his home in New Hope, MN. He said it’s the most rain the region has seen since May 1. The hailstorm that came with the rain was short-lived, but destructive.

(Unofficial) recount results are in: Budziszewski remains on top for Crystal Ward 3 Council. Same total as before of 1,129 for Budziszewski, 1,128 for Girard. Full story to come on @ccxnews this afternoon.
