OWATONNA, Minn. – A trial has been scheduled over a 2024 collision that killed a Steele County woman. Hunter Joseph Conrad, 20 of Morristown, has pleaded not guilty to criminal vehicular homicide, careless driving, and failure to stop. Law enforcement says Conrad was using his cell phone and did not stop for a stop sign, causing a fatal collision at the intersection of 50th Street Northwest and North Cedar Avenue in Owatonna on May 28, 204.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - If you’re looking for a place to putt-putt, you’re in luck. Blue Lagoon Mini Golf in Rochester is officially open for the season. The 18 hole course just opened in October. The owner Missy Emerich says the course was only able to be open for about 3 and a half weeks this fall. But, even in its short soft launch, she says the community has shown an outpour of support as they head into the spring and summertime.

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa - A semi has crashed in a construction zone on Interstate 35 by Clear Lake. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the semi is blocking the left shoulder of northbound I-35 between U.S. 18 and Exit 193: 4th Avenue South. The shoulder remains blocked as of 7:43 pm Friday.
