The exhibit will include illustrations, graphic design, rare collectibles and artifacts, historic signage, vintage apparel, and more to highlight the DNA of the city curated by several contributors.

Last month, intimate 210-capacity nightclub Signal opened its doors at 175 Morgan Avenue — and while you may not be able to tell from the outside, there’s a lot going on behind said doors. “It’s doing really well,” Margaux Allard, who works in marketing for Signal, said.

Surprise, June is here! To lament or celebrate the passage of time, soak up some events in the neighborhood this weekend. Upgrade your glassware and create something uniquely your own during workshops at CIBONE at 12 and 3 p.m. During the session, you’ll be instructed on how to engrave your own one-of-a-kind drinking glass or plate with an electric tool either using a provided template or freestyling with your own design. Kids over 7 are welcome, but all under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Happy unofficial start of summer! It hasn’t necessarily felt like it, weather-wise, this week, but it looks like we may be turning a corner soon. Cheers to that. Greenpoint Library‘s Voices Off ASL Storytime is back at 10:30 a.m. The program for kids aged 0 to 5 features an interactive session of stories, movement, rhymes, and music designed for early learners and their families (both bilingual and curious about ASL) and led by Erin, a deaf performer.
