Donald Macdonald (55), now Deputy General Counsel of NatWest Group started his career as a trainee with the Royal Bank of Scotland.     An open day by Croy Community Garden Group at its garden next to the school was hailed a success, as around 100 visitors had a chance to learn about growing their own produce, plants and flowers. There really was something for the whole family to enjoy with fun activities for children as well as a barbecue and baking stall.     St Joseph’s RC Primary School marked its 80th anniversary with a week of celebrations for pupils, staff and the community. Activities included a special mass, a ‘drum fun opening ceremony’, treats from an ice cream van, a banquet and dance workshop. There was a series of visits from former pupils and ex teachers who shared stories of what the school was like before. Old pictures, newspaper clippings and other momentos were displayed around the Inverness school.
