TUCSON, Ariz. — The USA Basketball Men's U19 National Team officially announced it’s 2025 roster on Friday morning. The team led by Arizona Men’s Basketball coach Tommy Lloyd, for the second straight year, he led the 2024 U18 team to a gold medal by going 6-0 in the 2024 FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup. This year, out of the 31 players at training camp, 12 were selected to compete at the 2025 FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup.

TUCSON, Ariz. — In May, the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico (Mexican Pacific League) announced the relocation of one of its teams to Tucson. Marking the first time in history the league has had a team based outside of Mexico. On Wednesday the Tucson Baseball team, formally known as Mayos de Navajoa, announced its schedule for the 2025-2026 inaugural season. "I just want to invite you to be part of the history that we are making here in Tucson," Liga ARCO President, Salvador Escobedo Cornejo said.

Competing in rodeos since she was two, Quiroz will be representing Tucson in the 2025 National Junior High Finals Rodeo. It’s kind of crazy because I’m the only girl going from Tucson," Quiroz said. "I’m very nervous and excited, but I would say I’m mostly excited.”When Quiroz was eight, she started riding her horse, Iyla. From there, her talent took off.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Even though Arizona Baseball lost in game one of the NCAA College World Series, 8-year-old Rylan Koch was still cheering for the 'Cats. In 2023, Rylan was drafted to the Arizona Baseball team through Team IMPACT. The nonprofit matches children facing serious illnesses and disabilities with college sports teams across the country. “Team impact is life changing," Rylan's mom, Ashley Koch said.
