Cork's Blackpool will welcome a new addition next week as Jysk opens its doors. Creating approximately 10 jobs, the Danish retailer will be located at Blackpool Retail Park (T23 RYN3), bringing the total number of Jysk stores in the Rebel County to four and joining the existing stores in Youghal, Ballincollig, and Eastgate.

Tricia, from Schull, and Bantry native Gearóid were married in St Finbarr’s Oratory, Gougane Barra, by Fr James McSweeney, Carrigaline parish, and held their reception at Dromquinna Manor, Co Kerry. Tricia, a remote and regional emergency nurse in Western Australia, and Gearóid, a mechanical fitter, first met on a night out in Skibbereen 13 years ago.
