    SHREVEPORT La. - Another deadly officer-involved shooting in Shreveport — this makes two in just eight days. Shreveport police say a man holding a gun walked up to a woman driving and tried to get in her car. She hit the gas and sped away. A witness nearby saw the whole thing and quickly called 911. When officers got to Crockett and Marshall streets, that same witness pointed them in the direction the man was heading. Moments later, police saw him. They say he was still holding a gun.

    SHREVEPORT, La. – A homicide that led to a deadly officer-involved shooting Saturday night in Shreveport started with a family argument before leaving two people dead. Shreveport police Cpl. Chris Bordelon said the argument at the house on Yancey Street started while family members were watching a basketball game. The gathering was for an early  Mother’s Day celebration. But then things spiraled.

    SHREVEPORT, La. — A Shreveport property owner is fed up with flooding and is calling on the city to take action after this week’s storms once again brought flash flooding to his commercial building. Bob Marak owns a property off Centenary Boulevard that has flooded five times since last May. The repeated water damage has impacted the businesses inside, including a barbershop and a bookstore. “They can’t handle large volumes of water in a short period of time,” Marak said.
