Students to test game designed to spot signs of grooming

Students from Tuam in Co Galway will be amongst the first in the country to test a new computer game designed to spot the key signs of online grooming. Some 400 students from Archbishop McHale College will log on to the multi-level quiz-based computer game called "Unity". These tech-savvy digital natives have already provided crucial feedback during the early stages of development, sharing what features they liked and offering opinions on where it could be improved.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity, his campaign has said in a statement. It follows an incident in which two people exchanged gunfire outside his Florida golf club, the New York Post said, citing law enforcement sources. Mr Trump's campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Representatives of the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Power outage at Dublin Airport causing some delays

Dublin Airport's Terminal 2 was without power for an hour this morning from around 8am due to an ESB outage in north Dublin. DAA said the incident is impacting operations and some delays are likely but flights have been taking off and passengers should come to the airport as normal. Some passengers are being held outside Terminal 2 as power is being gradually restored, while others have been escorted from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1.
