    A Weather Impact Alert has been issued for Friday and Saturday as a result of expected heavy rain over saturated areas. Rainfall totals ranged between a half an inch to over three inches locally in some cases. Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and even a few tornadoes moved through the region. This wide area of rain saturated the surface. As things drain a little bit here and there over the next 24 hours, our next rain chance will increase our flooding threat over the coming days.
