Police said the crash happened in the eastbound lane of Highway 70 near Grand Boulevard, police said. Accident reconstruction investigators arrived at the scene, which police said is a pedestrian crash where one person died. Police have not given a description of any vehicles involved, or whether they left the scene.

LOUIS — During the St. Louis Cardinals' home game on Sunday evening, third baseman Nolan Arenado ran full speed to catch the ball, only to land in the stands, smack dab on two small children.   Ben and Jaycee Evelsizer, Cardinals fans, wanted to reassure spectators that 2-year-old Eden and 4-year-old Elsie sustained no injuries from the impact. "We were looking at the ball in the air," Ben said.
