Rite Aid is closing all of its stores after filing for bankruptcy, including 178 locations in New York state. The pharmacy chain has not set exact closing dates for all of its stores, which are expected to either close or be sold to a new owner over the next few months. However, time is running out to use gift cards, coupons and rewards. “Rite Aid will no longer honor Rite Aid gift cards or accept any return or exchanges beginning June 5, 2025,” the company’s website says.

Monster trucks are revving up for more fun in Syracuse. Monster Jam will return to the JMA Wireless Dome at Syracuse University on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. The action starts at 3 p.m., but the fun kicks off with a Pit Party at 10:30 a.m.Tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday, May 20, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. An advance presale for Monster Jam Priority Customers is currently ongoing. Tickets are required for all attendees ages 2 and older; costumes are not allowed for guests 14 and older.

What is yacht rock? It’s a “joke,” according to a famous singer who’s often lumped into the music subgenre. Daryl Hall, best known for his work with Hall & Oates, told the "Broken Record" podcast that he hates being called “yacht rock” and resents the people who came up with the term. “This is something I don’t understand. An Upstate New York woman has been arrested after allegedly following a car for miles and repeatedly ramming it with her vehicle. WETM reports Iris M. Bonilla, 52, of Binghamton, is accused of a reckless driving incident on Saturday, May 3, that began in Nichols, N.Y., and ended in Wysox Township, Pennsylvania. An affidavit says Pennsylvania State Police were called to Lake Road in Wysox for a report of a white truck that was tailgating a white SUV at a close distance, hitting it multiple times.

A legendary guitarist has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack that he thought was acid reflux. King Crimson co-founder Robert Fripp revealed in a new YouTube video with his wife, singer and actor Toyah Willcox, that he unknowingly suffered a heart attack in early April while traveling to Italy for a concert with The Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists. “I’d been suffering what I considered to be acid reflux for a couple of weeks,” he explained.
