The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that officers responded to Walmart in Cortlandville for a larceny complaint. According to the report, Jason W. Scutt Sr., 53, stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise. Scutt was also found to be in possession of drugs.

    Crown City Rising provided updates on sidewalks in the City of Cortland’s downtown area. According to the update, crews are continuing to remove and replace defective sidewalks on both sides of Main Street. As a result of these repairs, foot traffic to various businesses might be rerouted.
