Keyser Ave., is facing charges of making terroristic threats, assault and recklessly endangering another person. A Wilkes-Barre man attacked his pregnant girlfriend as the two were leaving a Dickson City restaurant on May 12, according to a criminal complaint. Imar Pena, 26, of 343 S. Washington St., allegedly held his girlfriend by the hair and banged her head on the car dashboard repeatedly as the two were driving toward Scranton. He is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault of an unborn child and unlawful restraint.

Homeless man stalks Scranton woman, police say

A Scranton woman who was leaving to get pizza just after midnight Tuesday saw a man trying to force his way into her North Main Avenue home and called police. Officers responding to the incident learned the man had left the area and were provided with his description. Officers detained Gene Gantz, 33, who matched the description provided.

Joseph Paul Rulis, 32, of 220 Vine St., Browndale, is charged with assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. At 11 years old, George Duffy spent much of his time helping at the family jewelry store. At 12, his father taught him how to engrave jewelry. By the time he was 16, he got his own jewelry bench and began his career as a jeweler. In 2008, he opened George and Company Diamond Jewelers. Now, 17 years after he opened the doors to the Dickson City business, Duffy has decided to retire and close the business.
