CHAARG, a.k.a “Changing Health, Attitudes and Actions to Recreate Girls” launched at App State this past spring. CHAARG is a community in the form of chapters that prioritize health, wellness, and focus on fitness. Currently, there are over 100 chapters across the nation. Like the other chapters, CHAARG is designed for any and all fitness levels, from experienced powerlifters to those who have never stepped foot in a gym before.

All reported numbers will come from the North Carolina State Board of Elections or the Watauga County Board of Elections. Results reported on Election Day are unofficial projections for who will likely win each race. The Appalachian will not project a race for a particular candidate unless there is a statistical certainty the candidate will win. The county boards of elections will certify election results on Nov. 15.

Over the summer, renovations were taking place in the Walker School of Business, specifically inside Peacock Hall where labs were constructed for new additions to the cybersecurity program. Scott Hunsinger, chair of the Department of Computer Information Systems, said the lab in Boone contains pods of touchscreen computers, each with 27-inch screens, access to Zoom cameras, networking equipment and other advanced technologies used in Cybersecurity classes.
