Star redshirt senior wide receiver Kaedin Robinson announced on social media Monday that he will not play the remainder of the season due to injury. “It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I have unfortunately suffered a season ending injury, bringing an unexpected end to my college career at App State,” Robinson wrote. Robinson will not play in the final two games against James Madison and Georgia Southern.

This will be Trump’s second time serving as president, as he served from 2016-20. Trump lost to President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, marking the 10th time in history an active president did not win an initial re-election.

The county boards of elections will certify election results on Nov. 15. During this period, they verify provisional ballots and count absentee ballots, which could sway results in an election. Countywide tabulated results are unofficial until they are certified. With information from all county boards of elections, the NCSBE will certify election results on Nov. 26.

All reported numbers will come from the North Carolina State Board of Elections or the Watauga County Board of Elections. Results reported on Election Day are unofficial projections for who will likely win each race. The Appalachian will not project a race for a particular candidate unless there is a statistical certainty the candidate will win. The county boards of elections will certify election results on Nov. 15.

As of 4 p.m. Election Day, the line from the Plemmons Student Union polling location stretched all the way to the student union spiral staircase, resulting in a four-hour wait time to vote. A poll worker told those waiting in line the time frame, resulting in some leaving the line to find another polling location to vote. “I kind of have other stuff on my plans,” said Cylen Genwright, a sophomore psychology major waiting in line.

Stepping back in time through The Appalachian’s coverage, App State students of the early 1960s protested issues revolving around campus restrictions.
