DENVER (KDVR) — It’s still March, but the Denver weather forecast will look more like May for the upcoming week. Colorado will see lots of sunshine through Thursday, with a chance to set a new record high on Thursday as well. Rain chances for the metro show up by the weekend. Winds will pick up again and create a windy afternoon with gusts upwards of 30 miles per hour possible. Wind gusts in the foothills may be much higher.

DENVER (KDVR) — A storm system will head to Colorado and Denver weather over the weekend bringing windy conditions to the city and snow to the mountains. The snow will develop early on Saturday and become more widespread during the afternoon. There are travel advisories in place for slick roads. So, weekend skiers need to prepare for possible delays. Denver will stay dry as the moisture will not make it to the city according to Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast.
