    Staff at the University of Leicester are to be balloted over potential strike action. It comes in response to fears the university could embark on a round of compulsory redundancies for the upcoming academic year, the Leicester branch of the University and College Union (UCU) said. Five of the buildings at Castle Rock High School are to be torn down as part of a Government plan to refurbish education settings across the country.
