North Yorkshire Police say they are investigating a reported sexual assault at Popworld in Rougier Street and are appealing for potential victims to come forward. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, May 25 when a number of women reported to door staff that they had been touched sexually by a man. A police spokesman said: “One woman provided contact details to the staff, but most of the women left the venue without leaving any details. We are appealing to them to come forward.
