Honeycutt, who races for Niece Motorsports, announced on social media that he will display Henderson's name over his driver's window. "Mr. Henderson will be riding with us at Pocono. Everyone will miss him extremely in the garage. Thoughts and prayers with Henderson Motorsports. Let’s do it for Charlie!" Honeycutt said on his X account.

ABINGDON, Va. (WCYB) — Funeral arrangements have been finalized for Charlie Henderson, a prominent NASCAR team owner and Southwest Virginia businessman, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 88. Henderson, who served as a military police officer in the Army, returned home to establish the grocery chain Food Country U.S.A. He later founded Henderson Motorsports in 1982.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — ESPN SportsCenter is hitting the road this summer for the first time in two decades, embarking on a 50-state tour that will bring the network's flagship news and information program directly to fans across America. The tour, titled "SportsCenter: 50 States in 50 Days," kicks off in Washington D.C. on June 27 with host Scott Van Pelt. The 37th stop of the tour will be at the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee on August 2.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WCYB) — A pair of talented girls tennis players from Southwest Virginia secured runner-up finishes at the Virginia High School League (VHSL) state championship. Marion's Parker White, who had already claimed the Class Two team title and doubles championship, narrowly missed out on a fourth consecutive singles title. White was defeated by Radford's Lynda Pratt with scores of 7-5 and 7-6. In Class One, Addy Bays added to her accolades with a runner-up finish in the singles tournament.
