Shuttles will transport spectators from the old Myrtle Square Mall parking lot to the Dunes Golf and Beach Club Myrtle Beach Emergency Manager Travis Glaki says the city has been working closely with Horry County to lay out a safety plan and will focus on traffic.

    NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - A new Amazon facility could help people living in Horry County get their packages faster. The Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation announced a new Amazon facility will be coming to North Myrtle Beach in October after signing a 10-year lease agreement. Amazon is set to open a same-day delivery facility within the Palmetto Coast Industrial Park, the first of its kind in South Carolina.

    HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) -- A proposal rezoning 95 acres off Highways 90 and 22 was denied by the planning commission Thursday night. The unanimous decision slows down the potential plans for new neighborhoods that some fear could disrupt the ecosystem of an already-flood-prone area. “I don’t feel the time is right, and I can’t support it,” said Bunky Ford. In 2018, crews closed off parts of the highway and surrounding roads when Hurricane Florence battered the Grand Strand.

    MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF/AP) -Nikki Haley suspended her presidential campaign on Wednesday after being soundly defeated across the country on Super Tuesday, leaving Donald Trump as the last remaining major candidate for the 2024 Republican nomination. Haley didn’t endorse the former president in a speech in Charleston, South Carolina. Instead, she challenged him to win the support of the moderate Republicans and independent voters who supported her.
