ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A Ragland woman was killed in a car crash that injured three children in St. Clair County early Monday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Vickie Franklin, 34, was fatally injured when the Nissan Maxima she was operating departed the roadway, hit an embankment and overturned. Franklin, who reportedly was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the Nissan and died at the scene.
