    JACKSON, Mich. — An argument between two people in Jackson on Monday led to multiple shots being fired, with some hitting the suspect, according to the Jackson Police Department. The Jackson PD said this happened Monday evening at the intersection of Martin Luther King and Wilkins Streets. Shots began firing when the suspect, a 20-year-old man from Jackson, pulled out a gun and started shooting at the victim after the argument, according to Jackson PD.

    LANSING, Mich. — An 84-year-old Lansing man was found dead in the water near a boat slip in southern Florida Friday afternoon. That's according to the Monroe County, Florida, Sheriff's Office. They said the body of 84-year-old Tony Vescolani, of Lansing, was found in the water off Sombrero Boulevard in Marathon. According to the sheriff's office, they were made aware of the body just before 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

    LANSING, Mich — A dead French bulldog was found in Everett Park in Lansing on Thursday afternoon, according to the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter. They said the dog was found in a cat carrier, which was put in a trash bag.     CLAY COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — A Clay County man is accused of shooting and killing a couple in the community of Ivydale earlier this week. According to a criminal complaint, the bodies of Brenda Dennis and Richard Bishop were found with gunshot wounds inside a home on Big Otter Highway in Ivydale Thursday evening. The complaint said that the person who found their bodies said they believed Michael Adkins, 58, of Duck, to be involved.
