TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Officers from the Westside Community Response Team experienced gunfire while patrolling the Balboa Heights neighborhood around 5 p.m. today. A suspect fired several rounds from a vehicle, striking at least one unoccupied vehicle, but fortunately, no injuries were reported. A large-scale search for the suspect vehicle extended into Downtown Tucson but was unsuccessful.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — PCSD is asking for the public's help locating a missing adult. 35-year-old Hoi Kei Woo, who is also known as Patricia, was last seen on Friday, April 18, 2025. Woo is reported to stand at 5'03", weighs 125 pounds and has brown eyes and hair. According to PCSD, she was possibly wearing a black shirt and pajama pants. She was reported as a missing person on Saturday, April 19. Officials confirm her car was found at Windy Point on Mount Lemmon Sunday, April 20.
Teen Charged with Murder After Tucson Shooting

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A tragic shooting incident on April 17 has led to a homicide investigation in Tucson. Officers from the South Side Division responded to a report of a shooting near South 12th Avenue and East Drexel Road, discovering an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as 19-year-old Antonio I. Rivera, was transported to an area hospital by Tucson Fire personnel. Despite medical efforts, Rivera succumbed to his injuries on April 19.

Investigation Underway After Deadly Shooting on the Southside

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A shooting on the evening of April 18, 2025, in the 900 block of West Irvington Road has led to a homicide investigation. Officers from Operations Division South arrived shortly after 6 p.m. and found 39-year-old Michael Alex Montano Mendoza with gunshot wounds in a parking lot west of 17th Avenue. Despite life-saving efforts, Mendoza was pronounced dead at the scene. Shortly after, a 24-year-old male called 9-1-1 and was identified as the suspected shooter.
