Alabaré's home and community service was inspected by the Care Quality Commission on January 27 and found to be "good" across all criteria. The CQC does not regulate premises used for supported living, so this inspection looked at personal care and support. Six of the 11 people receiving care and five relatives were spoken to by inspectors. Comments from relatives included people’s move into the service being “sensitively managed” and being “listened to” throughout.

In Hampshire, 2.18 per cent of cases - 465 of 21343 - between October 2022 and September 2024, collapsed under E72. E72 is when physical or digital evidence, witness statements or pathology reports are not available or missing. The highest of the figures is in the Metropolitan Police, where 4.6 per cent of cases collapsed. Hampshire's rate is seventh nationwide. Of the cases in Hampshire, 22 were sexual offence cases and none were murders.

Forensics on South Street (Image: Newsquest) A WOMAN in her 70s has been found dead in a property in the city centre. At around 8.30am on Thursday, June 5, Wiltshire Police received a report that a woman had been found dead inside a property in South Street. Her next of kin have been informed and an investigation has been launched. Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries into her death are ongoing.
