MAGGIE VALLEY, N.C. โ With the summer travel season here, many of will be heading to the beach or the mountains or some other family friendly destination. But years ago, that destination for many families was Ghost Town in Maggie Valley, NC. Many people in the region made the drive to the mountain town to get a glimpse of the old west. And while that amusement park is now closed, Ghost Town is still there and there's talk of bringing it back.

CONWAY, S.C. โ People talk to God in many ways, either through worship, song or silent prayer. But there's a place in South Carolina where people leave messages to God for all to see. It's the Travelers Chapel off Highway 501 in Conway, a tiny sanctuary where visitors open up about the most personal aspects of their lives by leaving messages to God inside a guestbook. "God, please, I pray for your intervention in the healing of our family," reads one such example.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. โ A typical small church in America has anywhere from 25 to 200 members. But a small church in Horry County doesn't have any members at all. Yet their doors have been open for over 50 years with no signs of closing anytime soon. If you've ever gone to Myrtle Beach along Hwy. 501, no doubt you've seen it there. Just outside of Conway sits a tiny church called the Travelers Chapel. With its doors always open, the non-denominational church welcomes all visitors.
