According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the man who opted to remain anonymous, did not know he owned a winning ticket from the Jan. 6 drawing until he called his girlfriend to check his numbers. "I thought, 'Oh! I won something'," he said he thought to himself while claiming his prize Friday. The winning ticket, sold at the Heights Kroger grocery store at 1900 N. Polk St., was purchased while the winner was out running errands, lottery officials said.

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Authorities in Jacksonville are seeking information into an unsolved hit-and-run collision that left at least one person dead late last week. According to police, the accident is suspected to have occurred during the early morning hours Friday at the 5500 block of John Harden Drive. The vehicle involved could possibly be a white Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra with heavy front-end damage, police said Tuesday.

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Authorities in Jacksonville are searching for a 20-year-old woman who they say is a person of interest in the fatal shooting of an elderly man inside his home Monday. According to police, Lesly Yarelzy Moreno is wanted in connection to the murder of 65-year-old Julio Cesar Diego-Lopez. Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 7000 block of Arkansas Highway 161 when they discovered Diego-Lopez dead from at least one gunshot wound, police said in a Tuesday news release.
