LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Lynchburg City Council's Tuesday meeting went into the early hours of Wednesday morning. One of the big topics of disagreement surrounded what to do with the Lynchburg property tax rate. Councilman Chris Faraldi moved for city staff to provide a budget proposal with specifics; he wants to understand what the budget would look like if councilmembers Misjuns, Diemer, and Timmer get what they want regarding a lower rate.

(WSET) — As we commemorate the Memorial Day holiday, folks got their run on early Monday morning for the annual Memorial Day 10K Run and 2 Mile WalkThe event dates back at least a decade in its current iteration. For this year’s run, over 300 people participated--more runners than any year before. Over 300 folks in Lynchburg participated in the 2025 Memorial Day 10K Run & 2 Mile Walk as they remembered those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, taken on May 26th, 2025.

Cloudfit is headquartered at the Carter Glass building on Church Court Street, which, if you didn't know, that building dates back to the 1930s.
