(KFYR) - On this date nine years ago, an EF-3 tornado struck Baker, Montana. “There’s no debris over there, there are still some empty lots, you can still see, nine years later, the aftermath. It’s like, ‘Why isn’t there a house there?’ ‘Well, let me tell you about 2016,’” said Vaughn Zenko, curator at the O’Fallon Historical Museum. All the ingredients for tornado formation came together on June 11, 2016, in southeast Montana.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 9, when we turn our clocks forward one hour at 2 a.m. local time. This shifts sunrises and sunsets to be later, giving us less daylight in the morning but more in the evening. Many people do not like changing the clocks twice each year (particularly when we skip ahead an hour in March, which usually causes us to lose some sleep).
