PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Owner Richard Bock of Giuseppe’s on 28th is both a talented chef and cellist. It was his music that first brought him to Italy. He was playing a show in New York City when a customer regaled him with tales of Florence’s culture, music and food. That customer invited Richard to visit — two weeks later, Bock was on his way. As fate would have it, Bock bumped into a college friend walking the streets of Florence who was involved with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra.
