PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Valley restaurant is going viral, garnering more than 70,000 followers on Instagram. The nearly one-year-old business emerged from one Phoenix man’s obsession with frozen bean burritos. Hank Murphy of Bad Hambres, which means “hunger” in Spanish, says he’s been obsessively cooking beans for 10 years. In April 2024, he decided to cook 120 burritos in his kitchen and sell them to friends while working a full-time corporate job.

He says he had no direction except for skateboarding, which taught him individual freedom, but a freedom that was earned through hard work and the embrace of failure.
