FULSHEAR, Texas — A great horned owl was safely rescued Wednesday morning after becoming entangled on a barbed wire fence along FM 1093 near Cross Creek Boulevard, authorities said. According to the Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, deputies responded to the scene and coordinated with Fulshear police to help the injured bird. A bird rescue and rehabilitation team was also called in.
