    There’s a new farmers market in Webster Groves thanks to the partnership of women-owned businesses. Webster native Caity Lueken of Oakwood Salon and Aesthetics, in partnership with Amy’s Cake Pop Shop  and Boozy Bites, and Maypop Coffee and Garden Shop, have been working to bring a farmers market to Webster Groves. Held for the first time last weekend on the parking lots of Oakwood Salon and Aesthetics at 7987 Big Bend Blvd.

    A St. Louis man has been charged in connection with setting a car on fire in Shrewsbury last fall. Henry D. Robinson, of the 3000 block of Franklin Avenue in the city of St. Louis, was charged April 23 with two felonies for knowingly burning or exploding and first-degree property damage, according to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The fire was set in the 7200 block of Weil Avenue in Shrewsbury during the overnight hours of Nov.

    The state is moving to revoke a Webster Groves day care center’s license in the wake of charges being filed against an employee for sexually abusing at least two children. Here We Grow Early Childcare Center, 12 E. Lockwood Ave., has already filed an appeal and is awaiting a date for a hearing.

    A former Webster Groves preschool teacher arrested and charged last month for sexually abusing a child has been charged with molesting a second child. Christopher Titus, 46, of the 3100 block of Droste Road in St. Charles, was first charged on March 5 with four felonies for child molestation and sodomy or attempted sodomy of a 4-year-old girl at Here We Grow Early Childcare Center, 12 E. Lockwood Ave., within the Webster Groves Masonic Temple building.
