I could just picture Mama walking across the road with a cup in her hand to borrow a worry from Miss Loretta. I found a cartoon with a picture of an old lady sitting in a rocking chair. The caption read: Some folks say worryin’ don’t help none. I know it don’t because nothin’ I ever worried about ever happened. Mama laughed.

Andrea Pack, JCA executive director, explained the idea for the “Saints & Southern Sinners” is to explore themes of faith, redemption, rebellion and contradiction through the lens of Southern identity.

    Published 5:56 pm Thursday, May 8, 2025 An Alabama Historical Commission Plaque has been placed on the red-brick building that is located on the corner of the crossroads in downtown Brundidge. Brundidge City Manager Willie Wright said the red-brick building was originally Brundidge City Hall where all city business was conducted in the downstairs area. The downstairs area also housed the Brundidge Police Department and the jail cells were the back wall of the brick building.
