The majority of outages at this time are coming from Alabama Power customers in Coffee and Houston counties, with just a little under a thousand reported customers without power between the two as of 5:26 p.m. on Monday.

(WTVY) - Dothan United will get a few extra days of rest ahead of a top-of-the-league matchup on Saturday, as the soccer club announced that their upcoming friendly match on Tuesday has been postponed. In a statement posted on Monday on the team’s social media pages, DUSC said that a scheduling conflict with UPSL’s Atletico Orlando FC has postponed the June 10 home contest at Rip Hewes Stadium.

    DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - The Kiwanis Club of Dothan hosted its annual Golf Classic on Thursday, all in the name of giving back in a big way to local children. The area organization saw a sizeable turnout at Highland Oaks, with over one hundred golfers across 26 different teams participating this year. With the help of this year’s participants and additional support from their sponsors, Kiwanis is looking to pump money back into supporting at-risk youth in the area.
