(WTVY) - Alabama’s Jalen Milroe has found his home at the professional level, as the Crimson Tide quarterback was drafted 92nd overall in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Milroe, a redshirt junior from Katy, Texas, brings plenty of experience to the NFL after spending four years in Tuscaloosa, with the last two of those years being as the starter behind center for the Tide.

(WTVY) - A Daleville man has been arrested and is facing charges in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier this month. 36-year-old Antwan “Country Wayne” Young was arrested at around 10:35 a.m. on Thursday near Culpepper Park. Daleville Police responded to an armed robbery call at a home on Templeton Drive on April 14. The victim told investigators that the suspect entered their home and, with a firearm in hand, demanded cash.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - A Houston County man was arrested after a standoff with deputies following a domestic incident that nearly turned deadly. According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 700 block of W.G. Bond Road in Dothan on Friday in reference to a domestic assault situation. Once they arrived on the scene, the victim in the incident was located near a wood line some distance from her home suffering from multiple injuries.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - A Dothan church preschool was evacuated Thursday afternoon after a fire sparked up inside the building. First responders were on-scene at Ridgecrest Baptist Church a little after 1:30 p.m. to respond to a fire alarm inside the preschool building on the church campus. Officials on scene confirmed to News4 that a small electric fire had started in one of the light fixtures. Children inside the preschool were all evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported due to this fire.
