SAN ANGELO, TX — The man accused of beating his grandmother so badly she had to be transported to another hospital has been transferred to the Tom Green County Jail. Christian Knowlton, 27, who has been charged with aggravated robbery and injury to an elderly individual, has been booked into the Tom Green County Jail and is being held on a $2.5 million bond.

SAN ANGELO, TX— A major crash out near Wall has two possible fatalities. According to radios, around 10:00 p.m., a major crash at US Highway 87 South and Wilde Road. A Nixle reported that both northbound and southbound lanes of the highway have been shut down due to traffic. Radios also indicated that there were two dead on arrival, and first responders are having to triage on scene until ambulances arrive. SAN ANGELO, TX— Walls have started going up at the Longhorn Steakhouse location in San Angelo. Longhorn Steakhouse is getting walls up after the plumbing and foundational work was complete. Many people have said the location looks small but, even with nearly two walls up, the building already looks bigger. The popular steakhouse chain had the project in the works back in 2022, according to a City of San Angelo permits and inspections report, but the restaurant is finally coming to fruition.
