Drivers making their way through Seattle will need to pay a little more, starting this summer. Tolls for Seattle’s State Route 99 tunnel, which passes beneath downtown, are set to increase by 3%, effective July 1. The increase will raise tolls by 10 cents during evening peak hours, while tolls during off-peak and morning hours will be raised by 5 cents.
