Green Day was playing the Hurricane Festival in Scheeßel, Germany, on Sunday when lead singer Billie Joe Armstong had had enough from an unruly fan. A TikTok shows Armstrong doing a call and response with the crowd when he raises his middle finger at someone in the audience. Then he drops the mic, takes off his guitar and directs some heated words at the fan. What he says isn’t captured on the audio, but it’s not too difficult to read his lips.

We’re ready to open nominations for the next category of The Oregonian’s Readers Choice Awards, and our mouths are watering just thinking about it. We kicked off the awards last year with the best sushi, the best Mexican restaurant, the best pizza, the best ramen and more, but we haven’t heard your picks for the best barbecue yet. Our dining reporter Michael Russell last ranked his favorite barbecue joints in 2017, but there have been plenty of changes since then.
