WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Researchers at the University of Kansas have developed a new digital tool to give agricultural producers satellite monitoring of crop health across the Sunflower State. The tool is called the Sentinel Green Report Plus, and it’s available free of charge to anyone. It’s a student-built interactive tool that’s been funded by the United States Geological Survey. Researchers KSN spoke to say the web-based app should lead to better-informed producers.
