EL DORADO, Kan. (KSNW)—The El Dorado community honored one of its own Wednesday evening during a special turkey hunt. Wichita police officer Brian Arterburn was run over by a suspect in a stolen truck in 2017, leaving him with a critical head injury. He’s still doing physical therapy for his hands and legs, but he said he’s doing well emotionally. Arterburn was honored by Kansas One Shot, an organization that raises awareness for outdoor resources.
