West York Borough Police Officer Andrew Duarte was killed in the line of duty responding to the incident, which also hospitalized two other officers and three members of hospital staff.     YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Groundbreaking is set to take place for a memorial honoring fallen Officer Andrew Duarte in West York. It has now been more than two months since the tragic death of West York police officer Duarte. He was killed while responding to an active shooting at UPMC Hospital West Manchester Township. Across from the police station, a memorial with park benches, a plaque, a Thin Blue Line Flag and a tree planted directly in the center will honor Officer Duarte.

The Trojans were up at half-time, 44 to 37, but Neumann-Goretti turned it on in the third and fourth quarters, finishing the game on top with a final score of 85 to 71. I think until that perception changes and people really realize that early childhood teachers are teachers in the most formative years," Gherrity says.
