An inquest into the death of Jayne Hunt, who died in a crash on Bollards Hill near Seend in 2023, had been due to start on Wednesday, May 7. But Wiltshire and Swindon Coroner’s Service confirmed this inquest has been adjourned under Rule 25(4) of the Coroner’s Inquest Rules 2013.

Northgate Street in Devizes was closed in both directions for a month after the blaze gutted The Kebab and Pizza House last November and reopened under a one-way system in December.

Temporary traffic lights have been causing congestion in both directions on the A4 Rowden Hill in Chippenham during peak traffic times.
