    ELKHART, Ind. (WISH) — The Elkhart Police Department arrested four people in a drug investigation earlier this week after applying for and executing a search warrant at an apartment. On Monday, an Elkhart Police Department officer applied for a search warrant based on eight stops in a three-hour period in which officers seized 42.5 grams of synthetic marijuana, a controlled substance, off seven of the individuals.

An Indiana University professor and former mayor said most local governments would have very little money to spare if lawmakers approved a property tax overhaul.     INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Multiple school districts are changing Monday to an e-learning day because of a large protest planned at the Indiana Statehouse. Educators are set to protest proposed cuts to public school funding. More than 180 teachers have planned to attend from Pike Township alone. Schools in Pike Township and Monroe County will have an e-learning day Monday. As of now, Indianapolis Public Schools is set to conduct classes in person as normal.

    INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Taking the phrase “justice is blind” a bit too literally, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers played a charity game of baseball blind. The game is called beep ball: A version of baseball for people who are blind and visually impaired. Players try and hit a ball that makes a noise and race to bases that buzz. Officers played against the Indy Thunder, a blind and visually impaired team that plays beep ball.
