Miss Mary E. Wellington of 17 Springside Ave., who has taught a Sunday school class continuously for 61 of her 79 years, is one of three in Massachusetts who will be given a citation by the State Council of Churches. The citation, for meritorious service in the field of religious education, will be made at the second annual dinner of the state council's department of religious education next Thursday at Old South Church, Boston.

The Bartlett Avenue parking lot at the Berkshire Athenaeum will be closed due to paving. This work is slated to take approximately two weeks to complete, pending no delays due to weather. The Bartlett Avenue entrance to the library and to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program will be closed while this work is underway. The Wendell Avenue entrance remains open for access to both the Berkshire Athenaeum and RSVP.

Mount Greylock Regional School will stage “Rewind: A Real-Life Sitcom” at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 8 to 10, in the school auditorium, 1781 Cold Spring Road. High school student Ashley Stevens’ fraught teen world has become a sitcom, complete with a nosy neighbor, comically inept school baddies and harebrained high jinks, punctuated by cheesy commercials and the “behind-the-scenes” hustle of a director and crew.
