PORTSMOUTH — Former state Rep. Laura Pantelakos, who represented the city in Concord for 44 consecutive years, died Monday night. She was 89. Her daughter, Petra Barstow, said her mother, a Democrat, “served 44 consecutive years for the city of Portsmouth and the state of New Hampshire.” She served from 1978 to 2022. “She was the dean of the House when she retired two years ago.”Pantelakos held the title of dean of the House (longest current serving member) from 2008 to 2022.
