TOLEDO, Ohio — Driver's commute through downtown Toledo may be a little bit shorter now, as city of Toledo crews have begun pulling orange barrels and and road closed signs from the intersection of Summit Street and Cherry Street. The city confirmed to WTOL 11 that the widely-used intersection is now open to limited traffic, as crews began installing traffic signals and paving the south side of Summit Street Monday.

ROSSFORD, Ohio — The city of Rossford has plans for the former Indian Hills Elementary School site. The school's been closed since 2014. Rossford Mayor Neil MacKinnon reminded WTOL 11 that the site is a Native American burial ground and cannot be developed. In fact, it was just a couple of years ago when archaeologists conducted a dig on the site... but found nothing. The mayor says the 54 acres will remain an urban forest.
