At 8:15 a.m., the Rocky Mount Police Department Special Operations Division's Narcotics Unit, in collaboration with the Violent Crime Unit, searched a home in the 1700 block of Windsor Street. Rocky Mount police said a man in his late teens or early 20s was shot during the operation and search. The man's injuries are not life-threatening and authorities took the person, according to police. Police said four people were inside their home.
