ATLANTA — The Georgia Department of Public Health on Friday confirmed a fifth measles case in the state this year. Health officials said the person is the family member of a person with an earlier confirmed case back in May. The original case occurred in an unvaccinated metro Atlanta resident who had acquired the illness outside the country, DPH said. The department did not provide any identifying information about the person or their relation to the individual with the earlier case.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Motor Speedway has a new name! Gov. Brian Kemp joined Speedway Motorsports and EchoPark Automotive for the announcement on Tuesday, in which the new name was revealed: EchoPark Speedway. According to a release from the speedway, it's part of a new partnership that will carry the EchoPark brand through a seven-year, multi-million-dollar agreement.

A former Seton Hall University baseball player is suing the school, alleging a culture of violent hazing and a coach who he says turned a blind eye. The teenager spoke exclusively with CBS News New York's Jessica Moore to explain how the alleged abuse derailed his life. Sadness, anger and frustration now consume the once happy 17-year-old college student, who asked to remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation. He says he almost immediately found himself the victim of what he calls violent hazing.

GEORGIA, — Another two parks at Lake Lanier have recently reopened after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced more than 20 temporary park and recreational site closures. The Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District said the closures were due to safety concerns and a shortage of workers. "We will be continually assessing and reassessing these temporary closures throughout the summer," the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said in a release on Friday.
