The average price in New York state was $3.09/g Monday, according to GasBuddy's survey of 6,118 stations. Prices in New York are 3.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 34.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. In Olean, prices increased from nearly $3.39/g — a price that stayed constant for several weeks — to nearly $3.46/g last week.
