OLEAN — The Common Council on Tuesday approved a $29.15 million budget for the fiscal year beginning June 1. The approved budget represents a 0.39% decrease from the 2024–25 budget, and the city’s property tax levy is expected to be around $8.57 million, a 6.4% increase from the current levy.
