Ironton (7-0, 4-0) has 39 hits over their past 3 games which have all been wins over OVC opponents.

In a game that saw no scoring, one team scoring some runs and then the other team doing a lot scoring, the Coal Grove Lady Hornets rallied from an early deficit to beat the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers 11-4 Wednesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game. The game was scoreless for 2 innings and then Ironton (9-3, 5-2) put 3 on the scoreboard in the third.

Wall went 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles and 5 runs batted in as the Fairland Dragons rolled to an 11-1 Ohio Valley Conference win over the Redmen on Tuesday. Fairland (4-6, 3-0) had 17 hits led by Wall but there were plenty of others who hit.

Pitcher Josey Kegley pitched a 2-hitter, struck out 12 and did not walk a batter while catcher Maddy Steele went 3-4 with 2 doubles, a home run and 4 runs batted in.
